Education: Dr. Greenberg holds the following degrees: Ph.D. (Nursing Research and Theory Development) from New York University, NY; MSN (Teaching) from Hunter College, New York, NY; BSN (Nursing) from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY; Diploma (Nursing) from Burbank Hospital School of Nursing, Fitchburg, MA.
Areas of Expertise and Teaching: Curriculum design, Alternative/Complementary Healing and Integrative Medicine, Holistic Nursing, Stress Reduction, Nursing Leadership.
Current Areas of Research: Lavender for sleep enhancement; Imagery, Visualization, Humor in Pain reduction; Curriculum reform and NCLEX success.
Professional Experience: Currently an Associate Professor at Lienhard School of Nursing in the College of Health Professions at Pace University, Dr. Greenberg has been among the faculty at Pace since 1978. Prior to joining Pace, Dr. Greenberg held teaching positions at St Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Syracuse, New York, and Long Island University Department of Nursing in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Greenberg previously worked at Westchester Medical Center as a staff nurse, and since 2003, she has maintained a clinical practice in Medical-Surgical nursing as a Per Diem Staff Nurse at Falmouth Hospital in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
