Education:  Professor Greiner holds the following degrees: DNSc, MSN in Community Health Nursing, and BSN -- all from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing -- and a BS from Albright College and The Reading Hospital School of Nursing.  In addition, he has completed two post-doctoral studies at the University of Kentucky, focusing on homeless health care through the College of Nursing, and epidemiology and aging through the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. He also completed the John A. Hartford Foundation/NYU Hartford Institute Gerontological Research Scholar program at New York University and the International Center for Health Leadership Development Fellows program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Areas of Expertise: Electronic health records use with simulation, public health nursing and aging.

Current Area of Research: Community partnerships and aging.

Professional Experience: Before coming to Pace University, Greiner worked at the Fairfield University School of Nursing, serving most recently as Associate Dean for Public Health and Entrepreneurial Initiatives, Associate Professor, and Director of the Health Promotion Center, a nurse-managed wellness center. Before that, he directed the school’s undergraduate program and was an assistant professor. He previously held faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University, and the University of Pittsburgh.
