Dr. Wanda Hiestand

Dr. Wanda Hiestand, a professor emeritus at Lienhard School of Nursing, was recently placed on her high school's hall of fame in Granite City, Illinois.

She also received the President's Award from the American Association for the History of Nursing in recognition of her years of service as Archivist and representative to the Interagency Council on Information Resources for Nursing.

Professor Hiestand was on the Lienhard School of Nursing faculty from 1982 to 1997.
