Lucille R. Ferrara, EdD, RN, FNP, Assistant Professor
Lucille has long been associated with Pace University and LSN, starting in 1994 when she was a student in the FNP program. Since 1998 she has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and this past year was on a full-time shared appointment with Montefiore Medical Center. Lucille received her EdD from the University of Phoenix in 2008. Her dissertation topic was: “Relationship of work experience to clinical and leadership competence of advanced practice nursing students”. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, NYS Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International. Lucille will have principal responsibilities in the FNP and DNP programs and her office will be located in Pleasantville.
Sharon Stahl Wexler, PhD, RN, BC, Assistant Professor
Sharon comes to LSN from a clinical appointment as Director of Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice at NY Hospital – Queens. She has also held an adjunct and administrative (Clinical Coordinator, lab instructor) appointments at New York University College of Nursing. Sharon has also been a Project Manager for a Chronic Wound Care Study at NYU. She received her PhD in 2007 from NYU College of Nursing and has national certifications in nursing administration, Gerontological CNS, and medical-surgical nursing. Sharon is a member of the Gerontological Society of America, American Geriatrics Society, National Gerontological Nurses Association, Eastern Nursing Research Society, and American Organization of Nurse Executives. Sharon will have principal responsibilities in the CDP and RN4 programs and her office will be located in New York City.
