Pace is Only NYS Nursing School Awarded VA Partnership!

Pace University, in partnership with the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, has been selected as one of five schools of nursing to be awarded a VA Nursing Academy grant.  As the only New York State grantee, we have been given a great opportunity to expand our faculty workforce and hence, prepare many more students for careers in nursing.  The VA Nursing Academy enables competitively selected VA-nursing school partnerships to increase the number of nursing faculty, enhance the professional and scholarly development of nurses, increase student enrollment, and promote innovations in nursing education.  For further information about VA partnerships, please visit the VA web site http://www1.va.gov/opa/pressrel/pressrelease.cfm?id=1664
