Welcome Class of 2012
Dean Harriet R. Feldman welcomes the Class of 2012!
On Monday, 9/21, Dean Harriet R. Feldman welcomed 128 sophomore nursing students to their first clinical nursing course,
dressed in their LSN scrubs, the students applauded as Dean Feldman congratulated them on their “firsts” for the Fall semester, including the first of many milestones in their nursing education and career, their first clinical nursing experience, and on being the first to enter the new RN4 curriculum. She discussed the career they have chosen to pursue as a lifetime career where they would always be in demand, could practice in many different roles, have a great deal of flexibility within each role, as well as a great deal of diversity as they take on new and different roles. The students shared a little about themselves, as they introduced themselves to one another forming bonds with their fellow nursing students. Finally, Dean Feldman shared some tips on how to be successful in nursing school, which can be very challenging but ultimately very rewarding as well. A number of the LSN faculty joined Dean Feldman and the students for a terrific kick off to the Class of 2012.
