Education: Christina Maraia has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Arts in Nursing Education from Pace University. 

Areas of Expertise:  Christina Maraia teaches in the RN4 and the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) programs. In the RN4 program, she primarily works with freshmen and sophomores as they start their first nursing courses.  She teaches Nursing 110: Essentials of Professional Nursing, a lecture course, as well as Nursing 202: Fundamentals of Nursing Practice, which is a clinical lab course where students learn basic hands-on skills in the CEL (Clinical Education Labs).  In the ABSN program, she teaches Nursing 416:Child Health Nursing, which is a General Pediatric clinical located off campus.

Professional Experience: Christina Maraia currently works as a Per Diem Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.  She also has experience working in the NICU and PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center. Prior to those positions, she worked in the NICU at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.
