International Field Study to Copenhagen, Denmark and Stockholm, Sweden
Spring 2012
The International Marketing Field Study traveled to Copenhagen and Stockholm from May 21st - 31st, 2012. Led by Prof. Mary Long and Prof. Dennis Sandler, this course introduced students to marketing activities of US firms in the European Union. Students studied the effects of sustainability and European integration on marketing activities in Scandinavian countries, as well as cultural values and norms of Denmark and Sweden. The group participated in many great business site visits which included Copenhagen Capacity, Danish Design Center, Copenhagen Business School, Novozymes, Prime Group, and Tango Sponsorship.

Two Lubin students were each awarded $1,500 Figueroa Family Scholarships,
for a total of $3,000 in funds awarded for this field study.
