MBA Program
To an increasing degree, managerial decisions are affected by a broad range of federal, state and local laws.
Transcending most commercial activities are those laws, particularly federal, which stem from the power of the
government to levy taxes. The complexity of these laws and the constancy of their change have produced the need for
technically qualified specialists to guide and counsel management. It has also become critical for management to
recognize tax problems and to determine how best to utilize the services of tax specialists. The Master of Business
Administration program in Taxation is designed to combine the study of management, finance and economics with
specialized study in the field of taxation. Instruction in taxation is by a carefully selected faculty with an
extensive background and specialized experience in tax law. Students interested in an intensive approach to the study
of taxation should refer to the Master of Science in Taxation degree program.
