The complex world of finance, on Wall Street and Main Street, requires individuals who are highly trained. Financial professionals must be able to succeed in a rapidly changing global environment where yesterday's theories, perceptions, and analytical tools may no longer apply.
Pace's Lubin School of Business offers an innovative Masters in Finance for Professionals (MFP) program specially designed for people already working in finance (or who want to enter the field) who need to update their knowledge and skills within a practical framework. Lubin's strength as a "putting theory into practice" business school has never before been so fitting as during these chaotic times in the financial marketplace.
A Program Format Designed For the Working Professional
This one-year, 36-credit program is focused on finance with the addition of relevant managerial accounting topics. Its format is based on the weekend residency/online model in our Executive MBA Program which was described by AACSB's Peer Review Team as ".... highly innovative, ahead of its time, and unique in the marketplace." MFP students attend six weekend residencies (the first one is Thursday-Sunday) spaced out over one year—roughly eight weeks apart, so there's no need to miss weekday work or attend class in the evenings. Between residencies, students work on team-based projects, study advanced financial theory, and learn the most up-to-date quantitative skills of finance professionals. All courses are team taught by Lubin's outstanding finance, economics and accounting faculty.
Our combination online and in-person MFP program is only once a year. The application process is uncomplicated and painless.... and does not require a GMAT. A structured personal interview with the program's Academic Director is required instead. You should ideally have three years of experience in finance or have a quantitative or analytical background. An undergraduate major in finance, economics, engineering, math, or science helps. Call or e-mail Patricia Deas-Nixon at 212-618-6651 or email@example.com for an informal pre-admission assessment of your qualifications or to answer any questions about the program. Today's financial markets difficulties can be a silver lining for moving ahead in your career. Strengthen your qualifications with an MFP from Pace!
