| Faculty Lubin faculty is comprised of accomplished practitioners and scholars who offer students a stimulating and interactive learning experience. heir research is often quoted in publications such as Fortune, Business Week and The Wall Street Journal. Highly qualified faculty with extensive industry experience contribute to the MBA in Human Resources Management program. They bring not only academic excellence, but also industry savvy to the classroom. Dr. Alvin Hwang is professor and chair of the International Business Program. He has researched and published on cross-cultural differences, taught in different countries, and consulted with international business organizations on business and executive development issues. He has received Best Paper awards from the Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, the Academy of Management Conference, an Exemplary Paper citation in the Academy of Management Learning and Education Journal, High Commendation awards from the Hong Kong Case Study Group, and multiple Outstanding Reviewer Awards from the Management Education Division of the Academy of Management. Many of our other esteemed faculty have also published in various international journals, consulted with international organizations and sit on boards of international organizations that promote international business, trade relationships and research in international management. Career Opportunities Graduates in the international business area are employed in all sectors of the business world. These include financial services, manufacturing, retail, consulting, technology, human resources and other areas. International business graduates can look forward to international business opportunities as they grow with their organizations in the global environment today. Field Study Courses Lubin provides unique opportunities for students to gain short-term international academic experience through fully-credited MBA courses. International field study courses are organized by the Lubin Center for Global Business Programs in cooperation with the departments of finance, management, accounting, marketing and law. Students attend classes, interact with professors, tour company facilities, meet with governmental leaders, and participate in roundtable workshops conducted by internationally recognized academics—all in an informal educational setting. Includes resources on countries, governments, statistics, news sources, mailing lists, etc. Europages: The European Business Directory - 500,000 companies selected in 30 European countries Flexible Scheduling To accommodate the needs of employed students, the program is designed with variable course loads and conveniently scheduled late afternoon and evening classes. The University also offers extended hours for many administrative offices to serve its working students. Convenient Locations The MBA in International Business degree is offered at the New York City downtown campus, located in the center of the city's financial district, just a few blocks from Wall Street, and the Westchester campus in White Plains, NY, near corporate headquarters. Admission A U.S. bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a foreign school is the preferred undergraduate degree requirement for admission into the program. In addition to a resume, a personal statement, a GMAT or GRE score report, and two recommendations, applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities they have attended. A recent TOEFL score, no more than two years old, is required of all applicants whose native language is not English or who did not receive a bachelor's or master's degree from a U.S. institution.
