In the U.S. and in many global enterprises, managers are central to organizational survival and success. Students who choose management as a field of study often have launched careers that have taken them beyond entry-level positions. Through an MBA program, they seek to prepare for broad responsibilities which require skills and knowledge that go beyond the technical skills and knowledge that supported earlier promotions.
