Overview
The Lubin School offers master of science degree programs for students who seek intensive study in a specific area of business. In the MS programs, students learn fundamental business principles in core courses and fine-tune the skills necessary to become specialists in their chosen field.

Structure of the Program
Built on Lubin's tradition of combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, the MS curriculum has been designed to provide the student with a knowledge of fundamental business principles and advanced technical knowledge in a specialized field. These 36-credit degree programs (39 credits in accounting) can be completed in one year of full-time study or two to three years of part-time study.

Objectives
The master of science program is a specialized degree, as contrasted with the breadth of the MBA program. Specifically, the objectives are:

  • To provide specialized education within a functional area of business that will enable the student to become a practitioner, or to improve the level of practice, within that field.
  • To provide a general understanding of how various areas of business theory are applied within the field.
  • Where applicable, to prepare students for certification within the field.
Degree Concentrations
The master of science program provides intensive study of a specific area of business. Building on those areas of study in which the University has its strongest faculty and academic resources, as well as its greatest experience at the undergraduate level, the MBA program of the Lubin School of Business offers several MS degree concentrations:
