| Overview The MS program in Financial Management is more specialized than the MBA program. It is specifically designed to develop financial managers. It is crafted for the financial analyst employed in a 21st century global corporation. The analytical skills developed in this program may also be applied to careers in various financial institutions as students determine the optimum allocation of investor funds to various fund users. Program and Courses The objective of this program and its curriculum is to provide thorough knowledge and understanding of the importance of financial analysis in the valuation of public and private firms, as well as the efficient management of the assets, liabilities, and capital funds in the corporate sector. Field Study Courses Field Study course offerings include FIN 680D Field Study of India as a Market-oriented Economy: Present and Future (CRN 73453), which is cross-listed with Fin 360A and INB 670C. Flexible Scheduling To accommodate the needs of employed students, the program is designed with variable course loads and conveniently scheduled late afternoon and evening classes. The University also offers extended hours for many administrative offices to serve its working students. Our degree- granting programs are also offered at our White Plains location. Opportunities are plentiful and provide many prospects for growth and experience. Admission A U.S. bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a foreign school is the preferred undergraduate degree requirement for admission into the program. In addition to a resume, a personal statement, a GMAT or GRE score report, and two recommendations, applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities they have attended. A recent TOEFL score, no more than two years old, is required of all applicants whose native language is not English or who did not receive a bachelor's or master's degree from a U.S. institution.
