Overview This program is more specialized than the MBA in Investment Management program and is designed to assist investment professionals in gaining additional useful knowledge. It is intended for the investment analyst and portfolio manager in a variety of financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, mutual funds, and brokerage firms. Program and Courses The objective of the curriculum is to provide a thorough understanding of the selection process in investments by combining modern theoretical concepts with a solid knowledge of the practical aspects of securities. Specialized courses in investment analysis and portfolio management provide both a strong business foundation and in-depth knowledge of investment strategies. Admission A U.S. bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a foreign school is the preferred undergraduate degree requirement for admission into the program. In addition to a resume, a personal statement, a GMAT or GRE score report, and two recommendations, applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities they have attended. A recent TOEFL score, no more than two years old, is required of all applicants whose native language is not English or who did not receive a bachelor's or master's degree from a U.S. institution.
