Overview
The Master of Science program in Taxation is designed to provide an intensive approach to the study of taxation. Students enrolled in this program may devote their entire course of study to the field of taxation. Certified public accountants, attorneys-at-law, and those who have completed undergraduate studies in accounting and law will find this curriculum particularly useful.

Program and Courses
The Master of Science program in Taxation is a 30-41-credit graduate program with courses designed to cover the entire spectrum of federal income taxation and the federal estate, gift, and generation skipping transfer taxes. The program is designed to train students to become technically qualified specialists.

They bring not only academic excellence, but also industry savvy to the classroom.

The complexity of the tax laws and the constancy of their changes have produced a need for technically qualified specialists.

Flexible Scheduling
To accommodate the need of employed students, the taxation course offerings are scheduled during the evening. The University also offers extended hours for many administrative offices to serve its working students.

Convenient Location
The Master of Science program in Taxation is offered at the New York City downtown campus, located in the center of the city's financial district, just a few blocks from Wall Street.

Admission
A U.S. bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a foreign school is the preferred undergraduate degree requirement for admission into the program. In addition to a resume, a personal statement, a GMAT or GRE score report, and two recommendations, applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities they have attended. A recent TOEFL score, no more than two years old, is required of all applicants whose native language is not English or who did not receive a bachelor's or master's degree from a U.S. institution.
