Overview
Lubin is the only business school with a comprehensive campus in the heart of Wall Street, the world's undisputed capital of finance, as well as in Westchester County, home of many major corporations, financial institutions, and small businesses.

The objective of Lubin BBA finance program is to provide students with the conceptual background and analytical tools necessary for sound financial decision-making. Finance graduates are prepared for valued financial positions in business firms, financial institutions, and in government & not-for-profit organizations.

The major in finance is designed to provide students with an understanding of financial management functions with particular emphasis on financial instruments, financial institutions, and capital structures as they relate to the corporate enterprise. Lubin’s undergraduate finance program is continuously updated to provide students with the most current knowledge and tools needed in many financial management functions, with particular emphasis on investments, corporate finance, and financial markets. Special course topics in finance such as Options, Futures, and Swaps; Mergers, Acquisitions, and Corporate Control; and Financial Engineering keep finance majors on the cutting edge of the field.

Program and Courses
Finance majors take a total of 128 credits including 31 credits in finance and economics. Global topics are integrated throughout the finance curriculum, which also offers specialized courses such as the Student Managed Investment Portfolio. Importantly, the major provides for ample flexibility, allowing students to choose 6 credits in Finance Electives, as well as 13 credits in Free Electives in or outside the finance field.

Career Opportunities
In a rapidly changing global economy, career success depends on studying finance at a business school well connected to the financial world and committed to programmatic excellence. The scope of financial management is constantly broadening as business activities expand and become more complex. Lubin's Center for the Study of Equity Markets and its annual Securities Industry Conferenceattract top financial executives from leading financial institutions around the country. Such relationships ensure a continuous updating of our finance major and provide unique employment opportunities for our graduates.

The success of our program is measured by the success of our alumni. Several of our alumni have undertaken significant leadership roles in some of the major financial firms. Our graduates are also successfully employed in managerial and executive positions by smaller financial firms, government agencies, and private corporations.

Corporate Internship Opportunities
Pace's Cooperative Education Program is the largest university internship program in the New York metropolitan area. Internships with prominent financial firms are regularly available. By and large, student interns are able to leverage their internship experiences into full-time positions.

Convenient Locations
The BBA in Public Accounting program is offered at the New York City downtown campus, located in the center of the city's financial district, just a few blocks from Wall Street, and the Westchester campus in Pleasantville, NY, near many Westchester corporate headquarters. Students may complete their degree requirements at either the New York City campus or at the Pleasantville campus, or they may take courses on both campuses if they wish.
