Overview
Our Bachelor of Business Administration in Management program prepares you to be a business manager and leader. The business management concentration will give you the flexibility to select from a wide array of management and related business courses to enable you to build a concentration that is tailored to your interests in the management field.

Our curriculum gives you the real-world skills of business management though the guidance of seasoned and accomplished faculty. Our faculty members are established leaders in their fields and also bring extensive industry experience to the classroom. Both theory and its real-world application are taught for both domestic and global markets.

As a part of our programs we also offer practical work experience in paid or credit-granting management internships offered through our Cooperative Education program.

Program and Courses
The Business Management program prepares students for careers in the management and leadership of business, both domestically and globally. Students, as leaders and managers, learn how to recognize, analyze, respond and strategically plan for such environmental factors as changing laws, accounting, financial and economic challenges, technological changes, union activities, cultural issues, and domestic and international trends. You will learn the formal and systematic management methods of directing and motivating group efforts toward achieving the organization's primary objective, the optimal allocation of resources.

As there are many opportunities in management covering a wide field of industries, Pace University offers you several avenues of study. The Management major is designed for students who wish a flexible curriculum and opportunity to specialize in one of four areas of concentrations. Through formal and systematic study of management, students will learn methods of directing and motivating group efforts to the members of your group and team to assure proper allocation of limited resources. So, in addition to completing the core course requirements, courses that establish a firm basis on which to develop your specialty, you have the choice to decide which area of concentration you most enjoy and at which you will be most successful.

The Business Management concentration prepares students for managerial careers. It focuses on the actions of managers in establishing objectives and planning for their accomplishment, integrating the actions of people and operations, and measuring the timely achievement of plans.

"The BBA in Management is quite diversified at Lubin. On one hand, our International Management and Entrepreneurship majors are designed to prepare students to gain a broad perspective about the overall business; on the other hand, our Human Resource Management and Hotel Management majors offer students a functional orientation, and they are more useful for those students who are keen to have something more readily applicable under their belt immediately after graduation."
