Peter E. Tryhane is a partner at Ernst & Young LLP, one of the Big Four and a global organization with member firms throughout the world. He has served Global Accounts in media & entertainment, manufacturing, oil and gas, and hospitality industries and currently serves as a member of our Northeast Sub-Area Advisory Board. Mr. Tryhane transferred back to the Ernst & Young's Metro New York Area practice in 2006 after three years in its National Office's Professional Practice Department where he regularly consulted with audit engagement teams on technical accounting and auditing matters. He joined Ernst & Young LLP as a Partner in May 2002 with 22 years of experience, the last eleven of which were as a partner, at Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Tryhane joined Arthur Andersen in 1980 following his graduation from Pace University.

Mr. Tryhane received his BBA and MBA from Pace University's Lubin School of Business in Westchester NY. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and holds licenses to practice in the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Previously, Mr. Tryhane served as a member of the AICPA Task Force for Judicial Conferences which provided training to Federal and state justices on the use of financial statements in the courtroom.

Mr. Tryhane resides in Stamford, Connecticut with his wife and their two children. He is presently on the Board of Directors of the Stamford Center for the Arts and serves as its treasurer. Mr. Tryhane is a member of Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich, CT, having previously served as a member of its Board of Governors for six years, and is also a member of the Stamford Yacht Club.
