Anthony Pustorino founded Pustorino, Puglisi & Co., LLP in 1961, and served the firm with distinction until his retirement in 1990. Since its foundation, the firm has been recognized for its commitment to client services through quality performance as well as imaginative, creative and practical approaches to their clients' specific needs and requirements. Pustorino, Puglisi & Co., LLP merged with Grassi & Co in January 2012.
For over 35 loyal years, Professor Anthony Pustorinio taught accounting at Pace University. His numerous accolades and his former students' warm regard, distinguish him as a truly dedicated and passionate educator. During his tenure at Pace, he was a recipient of numerous Teacher of the Year Awards, the Kenan Award of Teaching Excellence, and the Dr. Emmanuel Saxe Outstanding CPA in Education Award bestowed by the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Professor Pustorino's illustrious career includes serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and as Chair of the Board of Directors of the New York State Board for Public Accountancy and National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. He has authored several articles in professional journals and has served as an expert witness in various accounting litigations.
Anthony Pustorino earned a B.S. degree from Fordham University and an M.B.A. from New York University, Graduate School of Business Administration.
