Anthony T. Anzevino (Tony) is an audit partner in KPMG's New York Financial Services line of business and serves as National Sector Leader for KPMG's Banking and Finance practice.
In this role, Tony is responsible for all segments that comprise KPMG's banking and finance industry, including: commercial banking, regional and community banking, investment banking and securities firms and diversified financial companies. He is responsible for establishing the strategic framework in which KPMG serves its clients and the industry.
Tony has 22 years of experience providing audit and advisory services to some of the most prestigious banking, investment banking, and securities firms in the industry. He currently serves as engagement partner and/or advisory partner for two of KPMG's largest banking clients. In these roles, he provides services encompassing the accounting, control and operational aspects of these businesses. In addition, Tony interacts with the senior management teams and audit committees of clients on a continuous basis ensuring they are kept abreast of current accounting, auditing, and industry issues and trends.
A licensed CPA, Tony is a member of the AICPA, NYSSCPA, treasurer of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association - Financial Management Division, and he is chairman of the AICPA Stockbrokerage Expert Panel. He is a frequent speaker at various trade associations and KPMG conferences related to the banking industry and related industry trends. In addition, he serves on the Executive Committee, Finance Committee and Audit Committee (Chair) of the Westfield, NJ YMCA.
Tony has a BBA in Public Accounting from Pace University's Lubin School of Business and he is also a member of the Lubin School of Business Golf Classic Steering Committee.
