Aaron became an expert on International Accounting Standards at Deloitte, where he was an auditor before he moved to IBM. He was a major contributor to "A Guide to IFRS 2, Share Based Payment" published by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in March 2004. He has been at IBM for four years and is their Director of IFRS Policy and Implementation. IBM is at the leading edge of companies adopting IFRS for their worldwide accounting reporting systems and Aaron is leading that change. He has unique insight into the impact of the implementing IFRS in the US.

Aaron is a recognized expert in this area. He has spoken in Washington and is quoted in many business articles. He was a leading expert panelist for the AICPA's webcast, "Adopting IFRS: Getting Your Organization Ready." Aaron is one of the four experts listed by the AICPA in their October 2008 Journal of Accountancy discussion on the accounting profession's reaction to the new IFRS plan. He was interviewed in the Financial Times, April 30, 2008 issue on the software tools that IBM has developed to implement changes from US GAAP accounting to IFRS accounting rules. Aaron was one of the featured speakers at the Financial Executives Institute's sold-out conference "The World is Moving to IFRS, Are You?" in New York City on June 5, 2008. He meets with members of the IASB, SEC and IRS regularly on matters pertaining to the adoption of IFRS in the United States.
