Committee extended three-year admissions for UG from select international schools to the MBA Accounting 3, Committee agreed to waiver of GMAT for students with an UG grade-point of 3.50 or greater for students holding 4-year degrees from accredited US Institutions 4. Committee agreed to extend 3.50 GMAT waiver to Pace combined program students 5. Committee agreed to change minimum TOEFL from 100 to 90 for admissions to LGSB

    Desc: Assist Paul with putting together a DPS proposal.

    Desc: --- There are two committee components: policy committee and reviewers. The policy committee reviews but also sets university human subjects research review policies.
    Committee's Key Accomplishments: --- I reviewed five proposals. The committee decided to use only one reviewer for student research and exempt research. The committee evaluated four "full review" proposals involving protected subjects (minors).

    Desc: --- Council is cross-dept and cross-school mix of middle and upper-level administrators where university issues and policy changes are presented, led by the president.
    Committee's Key Accomplishments: --- Committee doesn't make decisions. It was presented with discussions of Middle States Assessment Issues in fall, 2015

    Committee's Key Accomplishments: I reviewed seven research proposals recommending needed changes when necessary before their approval.

  • 150 Nassau Condominium (Treasurer) [Board Member]
    Desc: --- Manage operations and finances of 125 unit, upper-scale condo in Manhattan.
    Committee's Key Accomplishments: --- Served as Treasurer in 2015, have also been vice-president and residential president during sponsor-controlled board. 1. Worked out financing arrangement with bank to augment reserve. 2. Implemented Lawsuit against Denny's to require closing at midnight 7-days per week. 3. Finalized annual operating budget. 4. Kept costs in control such that no maintenance increase was necessary. 5. Completed required Landmarks work at a cost of $1.7 million. 6. Received final certificate of occupancy from city.
  • 150 Nassau Condominium, VP (since 2003) (2014) [Officer, Vice President]
    Desc: Manage Condominium, worked on landmarks requirements; moved to 99% completion, engaged in actions to require Denny's to close at midnight rather than operate 24 hours. Worked with Pace public relations, 140 Nassau, and 150 Nassau in implementing action to bring Denny's to compromise. In addition, Board engaged in litigation. The result was a court-approved agreement that Denny's would close seven days a week at midnight in exchange for board support of its liquor license.
