  • External Relations [Committee Member]
    Desc: Review the operations of the office of career services and role of alumni, faculty, students, administrators, and others in the School's placement program. Support the Dean and the University development officer in designing effective fund raising programs.
    Committee's Key Accomplishments: The committee met once during the Fall semester on November 2. I was unable to attend because I had a previously scheduled luncheon and colloquium at NYU. Since I am on the five-year retirement package, I was pursuing research out of state in Spring 2015,.
  • Faculty Affairs [Committee Member]
    Desc: Assess all matters concerning faculty working conditions, compensation, and benefits, and report recommendations for improvement to the faculty and the Dean. Act as a liaison between the administration of the School and the University on matters concerning faculty working conditions, compensation, and benefits. Review all grievances brought by or against faculty members.
    Committee's Key Accomplishments: There were no meetings of the committee scheduled for Fall 2015. Since I am on the five-year retirement program I was pursuing research out of town in Spring 2015 and unavailable to attend any committee meetings.
