As the department responsible for developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan for the University, the department of Marketing and Communications reviews all communication projects in order to ensure the strategic use of University funds and consistency of image and message.
Marketing communication projects of any kind (including publications, advertising, Web content, videos, banners, signs, etc.), whether produced inside the University or by an outside vendor, must be approved by the Marketing and Communications department prior to project initiation.
Departments receiving marketing funds from the University, must work with University Relations to develop a marketing plan prior to initiating any marketing project. Forms to help you develop your marketing plan are available on this site. Contact us to schedule a meeting to help you develop your plan.
When developing a print project, it's a good idea to consider whether the project should have a Web component. If you are changing or updating information, such as courses, faculty, majors, or events, remember those changes should also be reflected on your Web site.
For more information on online communications, including building or updating your Web page, placing an item in the University's online newsletters (e.g., Pace Pulse or Opportunitas), or communicating through the University's Portal (MyPace), please see the Online Communications section of our site.
