HiPo Leadership Series: Discrimination in the Workplace

In this session, students will be able to learn about how they can navigate through the professional world and mitigate conflicts between coworkers and supervisors. This also includes providing knowledge of how to effectively promote community building through the exchange of dialogue and organizational development.

Join the brothers of Alpha Chi Epsilon for this philanthropy dinner benefiting the MS Foundation. For $5 upon entrance, attendees will indulge in dinner and dessert, enjoy talented performers, and listen to various speakers talk about MS.

Cheer on the men’s baseball team as they attempt to rock Franklin Pierce University and Rocky the Raven from clinching a win.
My Lady, My Heroine, My Hair Banquet
7:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | Gottesman Room
My Lady, My Heroine, My Hair Banquet is a dinner that the sisters of Omega Phi Beta have as part of their annual banquet. This year’s theme will be centered around hair and how women use hair as a form of expression, and should not be oppressed because of it. They will be honoring the sponsors of the Curly Girl Collective, who have their initiative—CurlFest—where women celebrate all different types of hair. Tickets are $7 for students.
Monday, March 6

This event will be a drive, such as a bone marrow drive or blood drive, in which Student Nurses at Pace will acquire people to volunteer to participate and donate.
Tuesday, March 7

Dear White People Movie Screening

Dear White People is a movie about young black students at a predominately white college. Through satire, this movie zooms in on each of the students’ lives at the school and their experiences.

Eat a Snickers: You’re Not You When You’re Hungry

Sorry for what you said when you were hangry? Come out for the Commuter Life event inspired by the famous commercial for the Snickers candy bar.

Move those feet and dance to the beat! This fitness event hosted by Student Nurse Coalition for Diversity and Development will give the Pace Community an opportunity to exercise in a fun and interactive way.
Take Back the Night
9:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. | Kessel Multipurpose Room
Take Back the Night is an event has been occurring worldwide since the 1960’s and stands by its mission of ending sexual violence in all forms, including sexual assault, sexual abuse, dating violence, and domestic violence. TBTN empowers survivors in the healing process. Usually TBTN events entail activities such as a candlelight vigil, a silent walk, moment of silence, survivor speak-out or open microphone sessions, and many other impactful activities that help promote the message.
