VOX Arts and Literary Journal is taking you to the City for some spoken word. One of New York’s famous poetry venues, the Nuyorican Poets Café has provided a stage for artists traditionally under-represented in mainstream media and culture for 40 years, and has emerged as one of the country’s most highly respected arts organizations for innovative poetry, music, hip hop, video, visual arts, comedy, and theater.
