Midterms are done and now it's time for some fun with career events. They've got LinkedIn photobooths, panels, speakers, and more as they sprint to the finish of this fall semester.
ALPFA CFO Finance Panel (NYC)
Monday, November 10 | 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

The purpose of this event is to discuss the changes in the role of the CFO function, mainly in dealing with the areas of risk management, information systems, business planning, driving performance, and—but not limited to—the key critical skills to excel in the position. This event will enlighten students on the ever-changing finance function from Pace alumni in key financial roles within their organizations.

Beta Gamma Sigma’s Pace University Chapter cordially invites you to join them for a workshop where they help you clean up, format, embellish, and organize your resume. A few employers from Morgan Stanley will be joining and giving their insight on what makes a resume really stand out! Career Services and Michael Peggs, chief branding officer of MichaelPeggs.com and former partner of development at Google, want you to enlist in an upcoming job search boot camp that will help you stand out from others in the applicant pool. This event focuses on jobs in social media and offers students a chance to speak with company representatives who will help you on your way to a career by providing you with social media and networking tips, helping you with resume branding, developing interviewing skills, illuminating useful job resources, and discussing current hiring trends in various industries.

Three L’s of Leadership (NYC)

The three L's of leadership: Love, Listen, and Leap. Love what you do. Listen to your voice, but listen to the advice of others, and leap. Make big moves and be crazy enough to change the world. Join Career Services and Anastasiya Kizima, a Pace alumna who is a credit and regulatory operations analyst at Moody's Corporation, to learn more about the three L’s of leadership. In addition, they will set up a LinkedIn photo booth for students to better brand themselves as a leader on campus by having a professional headshot.
