Pace formally opened a new residence hall at 182 Broadway in Lower Manhattan on October 31. The 23-story building will accommodate 600 Pace students.
In remarks at the ribbon cutting, President Stephen J. Friedman noted that the facility is “just one of three new buildings in our growing footprint in Lower Manhattan. Earlier this year, we opened a new Performing Arts Center at 140 William, home to Pace Performing Arts, one of our fastest growing programs and one of the best in the nation. And in 2015, we will welcome 700 students to Beekman Tower, another residence hall under construction at the corner of Beekman and William.”
Other University residences downtown are at 55 John Street, 106 Fulton Street, and in the University’s multi-function building at 1 Pace Plaza.
