Fashion Meets Philanthropy (NYC)
Fashion and charity are IN this season at Styleta at Pace’s annual Spring Fashion Show on Monday, April 28.
If you wear your sunglasses at night, don’t let anyone step on your blue suede shoes, or want a raspberry beret (the kind you find in a second hand store), then get your Apple Bottom jeans over to Styleta at Pace’s annual Spring Fashion Show on Monday, April 28, at 7:00 p.m. in Lecture Hall North.
Styleta at Pace has been collecting donations of men’s and women’s clothing year round for their the fashion show, and now they’re finally ready to hit the catwalk for charity. All the clothes you see will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to Bottomless Closet, an organization that guides and inspires disadvantaged women in New York City to reinvasion their careers, enter the workforce, and achieve success.
But please make sure you bring the green, because all purchases will be cash only.
Bib + Tuck is sponsoring the event, which means—you guessed it—discounts to their fashion swap site. And if that’s not enough to make you shout “I look incredible!” there will also be free food to make you shout “I am so full!”
