Six Flags
10:00 a.m. | Meet at Spruce Street
Conquer some of the most devilish roller coasters in America, or simply enjoy some of the lighter theme park offerings. Either way, prepare yourself for a memorable time at Six Flags Great Adventure.

Tuesday, September 8

Transfer Student Mixer
3:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. | Student Union
You know the drill when it comes to college. Meet other fellow transfers who are on the same page, and connect with departments, faculty, school advisers, and more.

Phantom of the Opera
7:00 p.m. | Meet at Welcome Desk, One Pace Plaza
Experience and enjoy one of the most notorious and essential productions in the history of theater. Maybe in a few years, one of the drama-oriented Setters in the audience will join the production!

Wednesday, September 9

Study Abroad Fair

Interested in traversing the world? Get the lowdown on the boundless study abroad opportunities offered at Pace, and begin planning what will likely prove to be an unforgettable semester.

Spa Day

The Visit Screening
7:15 p.m. | Meet at Welcome Desk at One Pace Plaza
No one loves you like your grandparents. From the director of The Sixth Sense and Signs and the producer of Paranormal Activity and Insidious, an original thriller from M. Night Shyamalan, The Visit hits theaters on Friday, September 11, but thanks to Universal at Pace, you have access to an advanced screening at Regal Battery Park Cinema. Statue of Liberty

Take a trip over to…New Jersey? and see the beacon of freedom that has provided millions of immigrants with hope, promise, and opportunity. The Statue of Liberty is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world, and for good reason.  

Museum of Sex
1:00p.m. | Welcome Desk, One Pace Plaza
The Museum of Sex was opened in 2002 by Daniel Gluck, who wanted to create an institution dedicated to “the history, evolution, and cultural significance of human sexuality.” If that sounds like something you’d be interested in learning more about, a visit to the Museum of Sex will likely prove to be rather intriguing.

9/11 Memorial Visit

Honor the victims of September 11, and pay tribute those who died protecting and preserving the freedom we enjoy today.

LBGTQAll Mixer

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Asexual, and Ally Center at Pace exists to create safe, inclusive, and welcoming campus environments. Meet friends and allies alike, and learn more about the LBGTQA Center’s ongoing social justice initiatives!

San Gennaro Festival
6:00 p.m. | Meet at Welcome Desk, One Pace Plaza
Can you say cannolis? The San Gennaro Festival, Little Italy’s annual celebration of Italian food and culture, is one of New York City’s most renowned autumn events. Grab a slice (or three) of Italian cheesecake, and then spend the rest of the year dreaming about next fall’s San Gennaro.

Mets Game
7:00 p.m. | Meet at Welcome Desk, One Pace Plaza
Take a ride out on the seven train and head into Queens to watch the New York Mets take on the Miami Marlins. In addition to playing host to the Mets, Flushing boasts some of the best dim sum on the planet.

Meet the Greeks

Thinking about going Greek? Learn all about Pace’s sororities and fraternities, and the advantages to joining some of the most expansive student and alumni networks across the globe.

Mp3 Experiment
7:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m. | Courtyard
Cause a scene with Improv Everywhere, where you’ll download an original Mp3 to your phone, synchronize your watch, head out to the determined location, and blend in with others. Then, everyone presses play, and hilarity ensues as participants carry out ridiculous, coordinated instructions delivered to their headphones via narrator “Steve” and everyone else tries to figure out what is going on.

Wednesday, September 16

President and Provost Welcome Reception

Join President Stephen J. Friedman and Provost Uday Sukhatme for a welcome reception to usher in an exciting new age at Pace University, as both our school and the downtown area of New York City surge into prominence!

Open Mic Night
5:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | Student Union
Today’s greats had to start somewhere. For you, that place may very well be the student union! From slam poetry to stand-up comedy to everything in between, open mic night is your chance to show off your skills en route to selling out those stadiums.

Amateur Night at the Apollo
7:00 p.m. | Meet at Welcome Desk, One Pace Plaza
James Brown, Jimi Hendrix, Ella Fitzgerald, and countless other world-famous musical acts began their careers and the world-famous Apollo Theater. Amateur Night features the future stars of tomorrow in one of the most prestigious new talent showcases in the entire world, at one of New York City’s most renowned live-entertainment venues.

Avenue Q
7:00 p.m. | Meet at Welcome Desk, One Pace Plaza
Tony-winning musical Avenue Q is the hilarious and heartfelt story of a bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York with big dreams and little money. He can only afford to live on Avenue Q but—good news—his neighbors turn out to be a remarkably funny bunch of characters.
