A Finals Fairy Tail (PLV)
Once upon a time, Mortola brought therapy dogs to campus to relieve finals stress. Back by pup-ular demand, Stress Free Week featuring puppies in PLV. The end.
If you want to use the famous “dog ate my homework” excuse, then head on over to Mortola’s Stress Free Week featuring game night, a stress-free zone with bubble wrap popping, and, of course, the puppies in PLV.
Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5 and 6 | 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in Mortola Library and 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. in Kessel
It’s time to paws for a study break as the Good Dog Foundation, which provides animal-assisted therapy services to more than 315 partner facilities in four states, returns to Pace’s Westchester Campus to help provide some stress relief prior to the start of exams. That’s right, we’re talking about eight hours to pet, hug, high-five, and get your face licked by the best best friend anyone could ask for. Normally we’d say there’s enough puppy to go around, but we’d get there early to ensure a pawesome time.
Friday, May 8 | 7:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | Mortola Courtyard (weather permitting)
You may feel like life is stressful, but LIFE doesn’t have to be. Take a study break and pick from 30+ board games to play with other stressed students.
Stop by the Mortola Library Stress-Free Zone on the first floor of the Library for games, painting, origami, bubble wrap, coloring and more all week 24/7.
And just in case you or a friend needs help, check out the Counseling Center’s Just in Case App, which is now integrated in the MyPace app and offers info about the many services available at Pace’s Counseling Center.
