Gen En Design Contest
Energy, environment, entrepreneurship, engagement. Can you design an image with a message that will motivate and inspire Pace students to conserve energy? Win $100 and help Pace pull the plug on energy waste.
The Gen En Design Contest is looking for creative works from Pace University students that will inspire our community to pull the plug on energy waste. Are you or someone you know interested in creative projects that benefit the public and the planet? Do you have good habits or clever energy savers you want to promote? Take up your pencils, cursors, and smart phones! Show us what it means to waste wattage; spooky energy phantoms and vampires; the long journey of the light in our lamps; burrito-powered bicycles; and how we can make a difference right here at Pace.
A winning submission will get you a $100 gift card to Barnes and Noble. Two runner-ups will receive $20 gift cards. The best images will be widely used to promote energy conservation on the Pace University campuses.
Pace Academy for Applied Environmental Studies’ Gen En Design Contest welcomes team submissions and many types of media. Get your friends involved! Read more about the rules here. Submit your original work to firstname.lastname@example.org by December 1, 2014. You can follow the Pace Academy Facebook to see top selections.
Launched by the Pace Academy for Applied Environmental Studies, the Generation Energy (Gen En) campaign will spend the year examining energy as we know it today—and how to make our lives simpler, our travels swifter, and our technology smarter.
We are Gen En because our time is now. We focus on energy because it is both our challenge and our opportunity; environment because real-world solutions take into account sustainability and well-being; entrepreneurship because we cannot create an energy future with an antiquated portfolio; and engagement because powering the future necessitates a global community of citizens taking part.
