Haaaaave You Met Ted?
No? Well it’s time for the Mother of all Inside the Actors Studio tapings. In fact, it’s going to be so legendary, we had to take a Lactaid. True story.
They’ve introduced us to the legendariness that is the word legendary. They’ve taught us that nothing good happens after 2:00 a.m., lemon-lawing dates is OK, high fives will never (ever) go out of style, and you can have an intervention for having too many interventions.
They given us the Canadian musical hits “Let’s Go to the Mall” and “Sandcastles in the Sand;” must reads like The Bro Code and The Playbook; sports like baskiceball; and, of course, the slap bet: Slapsgiving, Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap, and Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra.
And while this being the final season is now general knowledge (General Knowledge!), it still has us in a major rut (Major Rut!), but we’re putting the rut on a Lily-Marshall pause on Sunday, February 16, at 7:00 p.m. and snow suiting up as the cast of CBS’ How I Met Your Mother sits down with James Lipton for a taping of Inside the Actors Studio. That’s right: Jason Segel, Josh Radnor, Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan, and, of course, Neil Patrick Harris will be at Pace’s Schimmel Theatre.
In nine seasons, HIMYM has amassed 28 Emmy nominations (winning nine) and two Golden Globe nominations during it’s primetime tenure. Please note that this taping begins at 7:00 PM. Pace University will begin admitting audience at 6:30 PM.
With the end of a series (and era), this could be the most legendary Inside the Actors Studio tapings of all time. Challenge accepted.
Please join the Pace student (non-Performing Arts) standby line which forms along the hallway adjacent to the Bianco Room. A Pace ID admits ONE and you must be on line in order to receive a ticket. Please note, this is a standby line and does NOT guarantee tickets.
Pace BFA/BA Performing Arts Majors
Please join the Performing Arts majors standby line which forms along the hallway adjacent to the Schimmel balcony. A Pace ID admits ONE and you must be online in order to receive a ticket. This is a standby line and does NOT guarantee admission.
Friends/Family Outside the Pace Community
