A crime-fighter, a criminal, and blood-sucking vampire is the next to sit down with James Lipton. Alright that’s actually a bunch of baloney—Inside the Actors Studio is hosting Emmy-nominated actor Christopher Meloni on March 8.
*Cue the dramatic Law & Order intro music* Elliot Stabler, Chris Keller, Roman Zimojic. Who is Christopher Meloni? James Lipton will investigate one of TV’s most recognized detectives and crack the case of how to become a successful actor at Inside the Actors Studio on Tuesday, March 8. The interrogation begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Schimmel.
Christopher Meloni is an Emmy Award-nominated actor who’s starred in hit television shows and feature films alike. Some of his notable film work includes classics such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Wet Hot American Summer, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. He’s notably starred as Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, for which he was nominated for an Emmy; Chris Keller on Oz; Frankie Fanelli on The Fanelli Boys; Spike on Dinosaurs; Jimmy Liery on NYPD Blue; and Roman Zimojic on True Blood. Meloni is also recognized for his work supporting LGBT issues and was awarded the Human Rights Campaign’s Equality Award in 2006.
Meloni will star in WGN America's TV series Underground, a slavery era-set drama revolving around the Underground Railroad, set to premiere on March 9.
