Don’t Get Hooked by Phishing: IT Security Awareness for Students, Faculty, and Staff
Phising is the act of frauduliently attempting to acquire info like usernames, passwords, and credit card information by imitating trustworthy entities during electronic communications. Tis the season to protect yourself online—don’t visit untrusted websites, click on suspicious links or attachments, as tempting as they may be (we’re talking to you, free cruise spam!), and don’t ever give your username and password to anyone. In an effort to bring awareness to our community, ITS is offering training sessions for your respective areas. Please contact the IT Security office at email@example.com. Learn more about IT security.
This is a reminder to the campus community to be vigilant in what e-mails you open and what links you click on. Spam e-mails may periodically end up in your mailbox. These types of messages may try to disguise themselves as authentic e-mails, by spoofing “From” addresses from people we know or known companies. Read More.

Dyson Course Evaluations
Course evaluation is critical in providing constructive feedback to faculty and their departments on the quality of instruction delivered at Pace. Dyson College is urging students taking Dyson courses to participate. To begin the evaluation, refer to the following link: https://www.digitalmeasures.com/login/pace/student. Log in using your MyPace Portal username and password. It is important that you complete all of your Dyson College course evaluations during the timeframe that they are available: Sunday, November 24, 2013–Sunday, December, 2013 to avoid the Dyson College grade delay.
This semester's course evaluation results will be available to instructors on December 27, 2013. Grades will be delayed until December 30, 2013 for any students who have not completed all of their evaluations by the deadline noted above.
Further details regarding the Dyson Course Evaluation process will be sent out to your Pace e-mail in the near future. Any questions please contact Rich Miller (firstname.lastname@example.org).
