Life As We Know It (NYC)

News Story

Pace Performing Arts presents two student-directed shows, Runaways, directed by Katherine Wilkins, and Self-Accusation, directed by Scott Davis, on November 7 and 8 in NYC.

Runaways, a musical, follows 13 young runaways on the streets of New York City. Abused, from broken families, or in orphanages, these teenagers, forced to be adults before they're ready, must learn to be independent in a voyage towards their future. They're biggest dream is just to let them be a kid.

Following up, Self-Accusation, an abstract piece that explores life in every moment, shows us the relationship between public performance and personal identity, forcing us to reconsider our sense of who we are and what we know.

Performances will be held on Friday, November 7, at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 8, at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the Schaeberle Studio Theater in 41 Park Row. Tickets are free and can be reserved here.

Next up for PPA will be Shakespeare’s As You Like It on November 12–16 in the Schimmel. Click here for more info.
