Make a Media Industry Splash
The 2015 One Day Immersion in TV, Cable, and Digital Entertainment conference is your chance to get a leg up in the ever-competitive media landscape. Also, enter for your chance to win a highly coveted scholarship!
The One Day Immersion (ODI) in TV, Cable, and Digital Entertainment collegiate conference, in association with the Lubin School of Business, will be held on Friday, October 23, from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. at the Schimmel Center for the Arts on the New York City Campus. The conference—which will feature the likes of HBO, Comedy Central, NBCUniversal, HGTV, and Hulu—will provide students with a rare chance to learn more about the entertainment industry through panel discussions, networking opportunities, and much more! The conference will be highlighted by a keynote speech from Pace alumnus Joseph Ianniello ’90, COO, CBS Corporation.
Plus, scholarship opportunities! Through the recently created ODI Scholars program, the conference will award two students $2,000 scholarships plus mentoring sessions—with the aim of supporting and facilitating the next generation of media industry leaders. Two runners-up will also be awarded $500 each, as well as 10 hours of mentoring sessions.
The ODI Scholars program, as well as the conference, provides students with a unique opportunity to connect and network with some of the industry’s brightest thinkers. All in all, it is your chance to learn, grow, and make contact with people and ideas that may very well jumpstart your career.
To apply for the ODI Scholarship, visit www.onedayimmersion.com for pertinent information and guidelines. Applications must be received by October 1, 2015.
The One Day Immersion conference is free for college students, faculty, and recent graduates, and will also be made available for live-streaming across the globe. The first 100 participants will be invited to attend an exclusive “Ask Me Anything: Lunch with an Executive” session, where you can have an in-person discussion with a media executive over a boxed lunch.
