Nepal Earthquake Relief

News Story

Looking for ways to help the victims of the Nepal earthquake? The CCAR has compiled a list of some of the relief funds and organizations providing aid to Nepal. Plus, one Pace student is looking to raise $10,000 through his disaster relief fundraiser.

On April 25, a massive earthquake devastated Nepal, killing more than 6,000 people and injuring nearly 14,000. If you're looking for ways to help, the Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR) at Dyson College has compiled a list of well-established resources and organizations on their blog: The Earthquake in Nepal: What You Can Do, which also highlights the need for monetary donations instead of goods, tips on how to make sure your donation goes toward relief in Nepal and not to another cause, and more.

Additionally, Pace's own Prasoon Dhungana, an international student from Nepal, has started a disaster relief fundraiser on GlobalGiving with a goal of $10,000. Donate today!
