P4K the Night Away (PLV)

News Story

24 hours in a day; 12 hours to save a life. Later this fall, Pace will host the second annual Pace 4 Kids Dance Marathon to benefit Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. On September 16, join the community at the P4K kick-off at the Pace Perk.

We dance for those who can’t.

Last year, the inaugural Pace 4 Kids Dance Marathon raised almost $30,000 for the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, which serves more than 20,000 children each year.

Back for its second year, P4K will be held on November 22–23 from 3:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. in the Willcox Gym on the Westchester Campus. For 12 hours, dancers will participate in a group morale dance each hour, along with fan-favorites, like the cha-cha, electric slide, and even the dougie. That’s right, they’re going to teach you how to dougie, teach you teach you how to dougie. There will also be food, goodies, and an all-around good time. Check out a video of last year’s morale dance.

On Tuesday, September 16, join the P4K committee and rest of the Pace Community at the Pace 4 Kids Kick-Off from 9:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. at the Pace Perk. You can register, hear all about fundraising efforts, and enjoy performances from students throughout the night.
