Alfred Hitchcock's "The Lodger" Silent Films with Live Piano Accompaniment by Ben Model
The 2014-2015 season of Pace Presents continues at the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts, 3 Spruce Street in Lower Manhattan. Current students and Pace alumni are eligible for discounted tickets. Here are some upcoming highlights:
October 26. Alfred Hitchcock's "The Lodger" Silent Films with Live Piano Accompaniment by Ben Model. The plot of this silent film directed by a 26-year-old Alfred Hitchcock reads like one from any number of his more familiar films.
December 11 - December 21. The Nutcracker. Join us for the holidays as Gelsey Kirkland Ballet brings their version of the perennial holiday classic to our stage.
May 9. A Broadway Superstar for more than 30 years, Patti LuPone is a two-time Tony Award Winner, Olivier recipient, and a two-time Grammy winner. Her bold, infectious personality and talent has led her to win the hearts of Musical Theatre mavens across the globe.
March 28. The legendary Ben Vereen has claimed the stage as his first love and passion – so he’s taking his one-man concert to Schimmel! Few entertainers are as accomplished or versatile as Ben Vereen, best known for his theatrical roles in Pippin, Wicked, Will Roger’s Follies, and many more. performs a one-man concert with a three-piece live music back-up.
