Pay it Forward
Sometimes it feels good to just do something good. From now until November 23, the Pace Civility Collateral will host the Pay It Forward campaign, promoting random acts of kindness.
A little bit goes a long way. Earlier this month, the Civility Collateral launched their Pay It Forward campaign to promote civility and random acts of kindness around campus.
Resident Advisors (RA) were given civility buttons and will pass them on to Pace students that they witness doing acts of kindness for others. Examples of these random acts of kindness are, but are not limited to, holding the door for someone, holding the elevator door for someone, helping someone carry something, etc.
Once the RA witnesses this kind act, they will pass the pin to that student and explain the Pay It forward campaign. Once the student has the pin, they can take a picture and post it on Instagram with their name, their random act of kindness and hashtag #PaceCivility to gain two programming points, which go toward housing points. That student will then pay it forward and do the same for another student.
The campaign will last until November 23, so make sure to do good before you head off for Thanksgiving break.
