Ready to Rock the Vote?
It may not be November, but it is election season here at Pace. If you’re interested in running for a position and really making your mark in NYC, you’re going to want to read this.
Before we go and get our vote on, we need the students who are going to be the voice of the NYC Campus!
If you’re interested in making sure that all student concerns are heard and addressed, then Student Government Association (SGA) may be the right fit for you. But you need to act fast: SGA election packets are currently available for pick up at the SDACA office (41 Park Row, 8th Floor) and are due by 5:00 p.m. on March 14. Those interested in running must attend one mandatory info session in the 8th Floor Leadership Lounge on March 10 from 3:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m., March 11 from 12:20 p.m.–1:15 p.m., or March 12 from 3:30 p.m.–4:20 p.m. There are currently 17 positions up for grabs, including SGA e-board, school positions, and individual class positions. Elections will take place via online voting beginning on March 24, with a debate and candidate meet and greet happening on March 25. For more information, click here.
In PLV, packets were due on March 7, and final candidates will be announced on March 11 and elections begin on April 7. For more info, click here.
