How do we organize for social change? The Latino/a/x Empowerment Series concludes on April 24 with an important discussion on making a difference in your community.

Have your ever been culturally misunderstood in a classroom setting? Would you like to join a network of likeminded individuals? The Latino/a/x Empowerment Series is a set of discussions based on important topics that are pertinent to all students, but with a specific focus on the Latino/a/x community.

The last discussion, “Strategize to Mobilize,” will be held on Monday, April 24, from 12:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. in Room E322, One Pace Plaza. Led by Professor Kiku Huckle, this event will provide students with the framework to organize for social change. Students will walk away knowing how to effectively build alliances, even with groups, organizations, or individuals they may not typically agree with, in order to produce social change.

Students can RSVP to success@pace.edu by Friday, April 21.
