Or queso, fromage, formaggio, or whatever the equivalent is. From Belize to Catalonia to Florence, announcing the three winners of the Pace Study Abroad Photo Contest.
Pace International has announced the winners of the Spring 2015 Facebook Study Abroad Photo Contest. There were three categories: Face (local people, cultural images, etc.), Pace (Pace students wearing Pace gear all over the world), and Place (scenic landscapes, historic monuments, etc.) Students were asked to submit a photo from their study abroad experience along with a description.
Suraiya Chowdhury won the FACE category with an emotional photo of a little girl taken while she studied nursing in Belize over January term. This photo truly shows the great work that Pace students are doing around the world.
Julie Burke won the PACE category with a photo submission of her and fellow Pace student, Rebeccah Schecter, while on a hike near Montserrat in Catalonia, Spain. Julie and Rebeccah are both enjoying endless explorations while studying abroad this semester in Barcelona.
Jillian Amoroso won the PLACE category with a stunning photo of the sunset while sitting on the stairs at the Piazza Michelangelo in Florence, Italy. Jillian calls studying abroad this semester in Florence “the best decision I ever made.”
You can view the winning photos and all photos entered into the contest on the Pace Study Abroad Facebook page.
The winning photos and a few other staff choice submissions will be displayed at Culture Fest on March 31.
