Setter Sports Soiree
Woof, woof, woof for the home team! See field hockey in action on September 26 and football on September 30.
Field Hockey and Football look to keep up their winning ways—come for the cheer, come for the free t-shirts, and come to support a good cause.
Field Hockey vs. Adelphi University
Tuesday, September 26 | 4:00 p.m. | Peter X. Finnerty Field
Pace Field Hockey has gotten off to a blistering start, and will be hoping to keep their winning ways alive as they face off against the Panthers of Adelphi University. Tuesday also happens to be t-shirt day, so not only do you get to cheer on your favorite Setters, you also get to head home in style!
Football vs. Bentley University (Coach to Cure MD Game)
Saturday, September 30 | 12:00 p.m. | Pace Stadium
Home field advantage has paid off handsomely for our favorite football-minded student-athletes. The Setters are undefeated at home, and will look to extend that Pace Stadium record to a sparkling three wins and zero losses as they take on fiery Falcons of Bentley University.
Saturday’s game will also help tackle Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a disorder which robs people of precious muscle strength. Pace’s Coach to Cure MD game, a partnership between the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD), will raise money to help fight for a cure and treatment.
