Shoot for Peace (PLV)
Keep your eye on the prize, the ball, and the cup as you shoot for peace at the Peace and Justice Society’s Peace Pong Tournament on Wednesday, November 12 in PLV.
The Peace and Justice Society is throwing down the competition and some ping pong balls on Wednesday, November 12 at 9:00 p.m. as they host a Peace Pong Tournament in the Willcox Gym.
The rules for peace pong are similar to that of traditional beer pong, however, no alcohol will be served and teams will answer questions relating to peace, justice, or sustainability with each shot made. Questions will get more difficult as the game continues and teams will move up in the rank with correctly answered questions. The final level will be glow-in-the-dark and the winning pair will receive a $15 Starbucks gift card each—and fear not, the barista won’t quiz you for your coffee.
The Peace and Justice Society will provide free pizza, chips, cookies, drinks, and glow sticks.
Entry fee is $1 per person. Click here for more information or to register for the Peace Pong Tournament as a team or an individual.
Peace and Justice Society is a club at Pace University aimed to increase student awareness regarding issues of peace, justice, and sustainability. Join them on Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. in Miller 25.
