Sparking Autism Research

Here’s your chance to win $25K! Register for the SPARK contest, brought to you by the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) in partnership with Seidenberg, and design your very own mobile app in support of individuals with autism.
Make a difference by making a mobile app! You could win up to $25,000 for your work, so assemble a team or fly solo and then—in the words of the illustrious Tim Gunn—make it work, (mobile) designers.
This awesome opportunity is being brought to the Pace Community by SPARK, an initiative started by SFARI dedicated to speeding up and enhancing understanding of autism research, as well as Seidenberg. Join them in support of a very worthy cause! Registration is currently open, and will close on Monday, January 1. Here are the details:
The Challenge
To design and create new and engaging mobile apps that will support individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their family members.
The Participants
US-based high school, undergraduate, and graduate students.
The Prizes
$50,000 total in prize money, with individual prizes ranging from $1,000 to $25,000.
