Sports Send-offs (PLV)
Saturday will be a sad day in Setterville as football, volleyball, and soccer season close out their regular home seasons.
Saturday, November 1 | 12:00 p.m.
The football season comes to an end…zone as Pace Football prepares to bid adieu to its season and seniors with the annual Senior Day game and final home game of the season against the New Haven Chargers. Seniors will be recognized on the field and students in attendance will receive Pace phone wallets. Transportation to the game will begin at 10:30 a.m. on game day. Bus stops will be in front of North Hall in PLV and in front of Dow Hall in BRC. Kiosks will be set up at each bus stop providing game day information, Setter Squad student fan zone t-shirts for sale for $10, and promotional items.
Friday, October 31 | 7:00 p.m. | Goldstein Fitness Center
Fight like a volleyballer as the team hosts the second annual Dig Lavender match, where $1 admission will be charged and $5 official "Dig Lavender" t-shirts will be sold with all of the proceeds benefitting the Dana Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Institute for cancer research. The game will also feature the final Free Food Friday of the season with local sponsors providing free food for students.
Saturday, November 1 | 2:00 p.m. | Goldstein Fitness Center
The regular-season home finale marks the annual Pace Volleyball Alumni Day, where all volleyball alumni in attendance will be recognized during the match followed by a post-match reception in the VIP room of the Goldstein Fitness Center.
Saturday, November 1 | 11:00 a.m.
Soccer has their own set of goals on Saturday, giving graduating Setters one finale home win as they also celebrate Senior Day. During the pre-game ceremonies, each senior will be recognized for their hard work and dedication as a student-athlete on the women’s soccer team.
But it’s not all endings. Men’s and women’s basketball seasons both tip-off in November, so stay tuned for hoops news. Visit www.paceuathletics.com for more info.
