Spend your Saturday and Sunday seeing two plays from Actors Studio Drama School playwrights.

You can say that you saw them before they were Tony and Academy Award winners! The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University and Edward Allan Baker present the 2015 Graduating MFA Playwrights’ Staged Reading Series, featuring two new plays from two new voices.

Seeking to start a new life, Dante takes a job in the customer support department of Purgaxis Inc. But as his guilt and dark memories come back in droves, Dante finds himself trapped in corporate limbo, struggling to rectify his past mistakes and rediscover his personal identity in this comedy about the hell we create and the purgatory we deserve.

Charlie and Marie, a fun-loving interracial couple in Alexandria, Virginia,
have been living together for the past five months. Marie has been a
single mother for years and her son Ray is on his way home from college for Christmas break. The only problem is that Marie has not yet informed Ray of her new live-in boyfriend. Will Ray and Charlie struggle to get along with one another? Can a third person living in the house put a damper on Charlie and Marie’s relationship?
